Measuring Spoons!

Spoons are surprisingly easy to make! Learn to fabricate a simple set of measuring spoons in this 1-day onsite workshop using wire, sheet metal, and just a few tools! The instructor will demonstrate various hammers, steel blocks, and forming techniques that will teach students how to transform metal discs and wire into a complete set of measuring spoons that can be used for cooking and baking.

Fundamental fabrication skills including annealing, dapping, wire manipulation, soldering, and finishing/refining will be covered throughout the course - each student will hone these metals skills while creating their own custom-made measuring spoon to take home! There will additionally be an option to fabricate a connective rings to hold your spoons together or a wall rack to mount and display your new creations!
